On November 17, under the guidance of Department of Media and Publicity of China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), the 2016 “Food and Drug Safety Guarder” style show was hosted by China National Radio (CNR) in Beijing. Teng Jiacai, Deputy Director-General of CFDA, Yan Xiaoming, President of CNR, Yan Jiangying, Director of Department of Media and Publicity of CFDA, Jiang Haiqing, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of CNR, Xu Mei, Deputy Director of the General Office and Director of the Information Office of Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, and other guests attended the activity and jointly presented the certificates to the “Guarder” representatives. Mr. Sun Shiyin, Chief Inspector of the Quality Control Department of Qingdao BAHEAL Pharmaceutical Corporation (short for BAHEAL Pharm), won the pioneer award.

The view of the “Food and Drug Safety Guarder” propaganda focused on the grass roots, gave ear to the stories behind the first-line staff and showed the society the graceful bearing of grassroots “Guarder” via multimedia spread and interaction. Since the activity was launched in July, it had obtained great supports from all levels of food and drug supervision departments, guilds, enterprises, and media, which had deeply discovered many touching merits of a large scale of workers for the food and drug safety.

This activity had elected 20 “Food and Drug Safety Guarder” pioneers, 30 “Food and Drug Safety Guarder” elegant figures, and 108 “Food and Drug Safety Guarder” representatives. Most of the representatives elected were grass-roots supervisors, enterprise food and drug safety directors, and media workers, among them, the grass-roots supervisors and first production line workers had taken up 80%.
