On June 26, 2016, “Chinese Physician Award”, the highest award to physicians in China, was disclosed at Beijing International Convention Center. Eighty physicians from all over the country were awarded medals by Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA). During the ceremony, leaders including Li Bin, Director of National Health and Family Planning Commission of the P.R.C, Li Qingjie, Director of the Health Department of General Logistics Department of the PLA,and Zhang Yanling, President of CMDA, delivered speeches on the theme of “New Doctor-Patient Relationship”, and how to harmonize this relationship become the core objective to promote long-term development of the medical industry.

Noticeably, on the same day, CMDA joined hands with Bodhi Healthcare Group and held the launching ceremony of the Smart Doctor Project themed on “New Doctor-Patient Relationship, Smart Future Life”, and officially released the first smart hardware device for doctors----Bodhi Healthcare Smart Doctor Working Station. At the first phase, 1,000 sets of the working stations were given out to the carefully-selected doctors present.

At the launching ceremony, Fu Gang, Chairman of Bodhi Healthcare Group, introduced solutions of the Smart Doctor Project to CMDA leaders, the news media, and 200 physician representatives from across China. “We hope to popularize the application of the Smart Doctor Working Station so that doctors can better take care of their time and patients, and to lay solid foundation for achieving the full coverage of family doctors by 2020 in accordance with the national initiative,” emphasized Fu.

At last, Zhang Yanling, President of CMDA, concluded that, “it will be the focus of medical care reform to establish a hierarchical medical system and the core of the reform is to improve the medical service capabilities of general practitioners and family doctors. The launching of the Smart Doctor Project would help doctors to comprehensively improve their proficiency and patient management skills by shaking off time and space constrains. It also requires a sound intelligent medical system to ensure the fulfillment of the Project and the evaluation of multiple smart healthcare solutions convinces us that Bohdi Healthcare solution is cutting edge and can be quickly applied.”

In the presence of all guests, the Smart Doctor Project of CMDA was officially launched. Based on the “Internet of Things Cloud Model” and supported by cognitive computing technology, the Smart Doctor Working Station will help to usher in a smarter health care era featuring in “perfect man-machine interaction” and to build a new doctor-patient relationship by providing intelligent support for doctors in decision making of diagnosis and treatment as well as by improving their patient management capabilities.
